Congratulations to all students who completed the 100 days Practice Olympics. Your real reward is the progress you made in your music, but we had a great time at the pizza/ice cream party! Last day of spring semester is May 28. Texas State International Piano Festival is at TSU June 1-8 with lots of great recitals throughout the week. Part of the San Antonio Symphony’s Brahms Festival, with live music by SOLI Chamber Ensemble and Ballet performance by Sarah Pautz AujonChoreographed and staged by Artistic Director Gabriel Zertuche, Ballet San Antonio explores the alleged love affair between Brahms and Clara Schumann, the wife of fellow composer and close friend Robert Schumann. SOLI Chamber Orchestra will perform live music for the performance, which includes pieces by Brahms and Robert Schumann.
